By Ronelle Levy
Staff Writer, Mixtapekings.com

You may recognize the name from the nineties group "Born Jamericans" and his voice has been featured on hits from reggaeton artists including; Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Voltio, Hector El Father and others. He is a steady force in the reggae scene. Born of Cuban, Puerto Rican & Jamaican descent, he brings multi-cultural sounds and unity to his music.

Although Notch is not the first artist fusing multi-cultural sounds, he is on a personal crusade to break down some major language and cultural barriers with his highly anticipated solo album release "Raised By The People" (a joint venture between Notch's label, Cinco Por Cinco, and Universal's Machete Music). Latin and Caribbean genres including dancehall and roots reggae, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, cumbia from Colombia are all brought together with Notch's melodic vocal stylings.
