B2K's rapper Lil Fizz is back from a hiatus. Lil Fizz was 1/4th of the major R&B group B2k, which took the world by storm. In 2004, the group went their separate ways. Once the group split Omarion took the spotlight as a solo artist. This time, its Lil Fizz's time to shine.
His debut solo album PayDay is set to release July 17th. The singles from his album includes a track titled "Beds" and another, "Car Wash," which is being considered the summer anthem of 2007. the song is not that 70's oldie song that we all know.
This song is about LA's car culture, explains Lil Fizz. "On Friday and Saturday, it's a ritual for everyone to go and get their car washed and make it look sharp. It's like a party; it's crazy. The music is bumping, the cars are all shiny and everybody's flossin' on Slauson. 'Car Wash' is for everybody, but it's gonna really make Cali happy."
Catch Lil Fizz as the opening act for Pretty Ricky as they tour the west coast this summer.
You can catch Fizz in the following cities: June 21-Bakersfield, Ca @ Fox Theatre; June 22-Anaheim, Ca @ The Grove of Anaheim; June 23-San Diego, Ca @ House of Blues; June 24-Ventura, Ca @ Ventura Theatre.
