Jump Up, Jump up & Get Down

We all remember those three scruffy, hard-ass, rowdy Irish wanna be thugs, also called House of Pain. In all truth, they are the reason I developed a thing for white guys. I figured if he's white my dad won't mind that he's a thug.
The group formed in the early 90's and in 1992 dropped their first album, House of Pain, which gave us the catchy anthem "Jump Around". That song that followed us EVERYWHERE and tt helped push the whole "Kiss Me I'm Irish" fad...which was annoying.
I will admit the song was hot, though. It was different and it made a statement - white boys can't jump but they can rap. And they were magically delicious 'till lead rapper Everlast decided to take off and do his own thing.
Oh well. Don't feel so bad. The song became the unofficial national anthem for all the St. Patty's day drunks (which is every one, not just the Irish.)
