DJ Drama, The iPod King is Fitted For a King

DJ Drama single-handedly became the mixtape industry's front man. If you were to put a face to the mixtape game, it'd be Drama's. All thanks to the feds mixtape raid earlier this year.
DJ Drama has been on the mixtape grind, making himself a cult-like leader to many, byway of his Gangsta Grillz mixtape series. The mixtape series has garnered a huge following so much so that music enthusiasts eagerly wait for each release. Now the watershed moment in Drama's career is the soon to arrive when Gangsta Grillz: The Album is released in December. The album is being released through Grand Hustle/Atlantic Records. His business partners DJ Cannon and DJ Sense run Aphillates Music Group, which also inked a deal with Asylum Records.
Gangsta Grillz: The Album is sure to be a hit, especially with the publicity his camp has been getting. Recently, colleague and rapper T.I. is facing weapon charges. It isn't the first time the DJ faces much drama from authorities. Back in January 2007, Drama and fellow Aphilliates affilate DJ Don Cannon were arrested during a raid of the Atlanta offices
