The duo had a longstanding back-and-forth argument with their former label, Jive records. Officially released from Jive, the Virginia-bred duos confirmed their leave and are now negotiating with Columbia. The Clipse is no longer working with Star Trak Entertainment, known for the Neptunes.
Under Columbia, the rappers plan a third album hopefully working with Timbaland, Danjahandz and Dame Grease.
