Unbeknownst to the average person who thinks they know real hip hop is that yeah you might like De La and Tribe but do you know who the Ummah is??? Do you know who was the beatsmith behind those movements??? It was Dilla. Jay Dee was the catalyst for the soul movement back when Tribe was thumping. He made you actually feel it in your soul. So, no doubt Jay will have a couple of beats on here and you probably wouldnt even know it unless you checked the credits because he was so humble. He was the reason I got into Common, Talib, Mos, Slum, Hi-Tek, Tribe, De La and so on... Dilla is Native Tongues. Much love to Hip Hop and Lil Wayne(pleez show luv).
Yeah Yeah this is what Im talking about we need this I need this raw&uncut we need to feed those people this type of food (rap vege's). These people are so hungry man!! we need to get back to speaking the native tongues.

No disrespect to JDilla, who is a favourite producer of mine, but "Native Tongues" were making tunes back in the 80's before being involved with Dilla, before The Ummah was formed. Prince Paul was a major catalyst for their style of beats, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Red Alert and Sammy Bee and Mase played a big part too. Best "Native Tongue" album for me is Jungle Brother's "done By the Forces of Nature".
