Everyone's favorite Uncle is back with a new mixtape. He's got many aliases, my personal favorite is aka, "you might find my dick in ya baby mom's mouth"...classic.
I will say that the east is lacking quality street music as of late. Uncle Murda fills that void tho, I can't front. We'll call this anti-tight clothes music. Or maybe ignorance at it's finest. Don't get me wrong, it's all entertainment to me...to these kids tho let's hope they can see thru that shit and draw the line between fiction and reality. "Beef Shit" is the perfect track for the jump off. I been had this on rewind and the "I don't give a fuck" appeal is crazy. "Snitchin" is cool as a fan too. I like how Care Bear bring that shit back too. Gotta highlight the best tracks other wise you're not on your job. Uncle Murda actually dropped a lil knowledge in the rhyme too. "Gun With A Body 2" is an anthem, Maino laced that shit. Uncle Murda did get outshined lyrically on that "Invasion Freestyle". Freeway and Beanie Siegel ate that beat alive like they ain't eat food in months. That joint off the Diggz & Rated R mixtape "Take Care Of The Witness" is as hard a track that's been out all year. My favorite track up on here is easily "Lean On Me". I def diggin' the storytelling element of that shit.
The formula is mad simple yet effective as hell; Murda drop plays throughout the project, Uncle Murda hosts, a couple brand new joints and the classics. I still think Uncle Murda needs work on the MIC and his content never really strays from murda, gunplay, sour d and bitches. One thing he is doing better than most on the east is reppin' that gangsta music, that true murda music and for that I give him his props.
