This is one of my favorite mixtape series in the last few years. Blazita does her thing with each release. The joints are kind of random but it's all good music. Some tracks slept on jewels and def joints you haven't heard in a minute. She's giving you that classic Rap & Bullshit from the 90's thru the last few years.
You can't have a new Sex In The City mixtape without Puffy on a remix. Once he jacked Ron G's whole style (hard ass breaks over smooth R&B) he birthed the 16 bar feature on the R&B track. "Peaches and Cream" remix is just that too. Foxy laced the "Get You Home With Me Tonight" joint. Some mid 90's Teddy Reily voice coder going on there as well. You remember "Karma" right? Lloyd Banks sold a million albums off the strength of this song, no bullshit. You also can't do a Sex In The City mixtape without Biggie on it either. "Fuckin You Tonight" is classic, you know this and you can never get tired of hearing it. Donell Jones got hits people. "I'm Gonna Be" is my joint too. Nothing compares to his first album tho, with Eddie F on the production. You also can't have a Sex In The City mixtape without a Blazita mix. "Let Me Love You" is type fly. Jada and Mario is a good fit on some Rap & Bullshit. Only head scratching joint as to why the track was ever made was "Finer Things" with Jon B and Nas. This is a rare joint but those two together is like vodka and milk for your ears.
I've said it before, if you don't own every mixtape in this series I feel sorry for your mother...and your ears. It's just feel good music people, it isn't gonna hurt you. Some shit where you don't have to think to hard, you get lost in the nastolgia of the mix and you're a better person for it.
