Fuck, shit, piss, cunt, turd, douche, mutha fucka, ect ect...I had to start this one with some bad words for the simple fact Torae needs a raw review. I googled this project and all these nice eloquent attempts at a review poped up. Cats are corny with that shit trying to be "journalists" like these magazines are giving million dollar bonus' and shit; I will continue to shit on you forever and a day. Now back to the project at hand. Torae is NYC, he rhymes, has this project out. Is it any good? Let's find out.

Shout to DJ Fur.e still doing his thing. I see he's a mixtape DJ who while every other DJ is going right he goes left...I can dig it homie. I can't say I've been to excited about Dre's Detox...I mean it was supposed to drop years ago. Maybe this project will get peoples interest back up and for you half retarded cats this mixtape right here is gonna feature all Dre tracks or Dre produced tracks with some skills and blends mixed in for good measure...I already know how Fur.e does with it.

I look forward to these S4DK mixtapes. It's like a cleansing of the ear for me. Not that the music is bad but it's something different from the norm and it's refreshing. I don't know how many of you follow music outside of the U.S but believe it for not there are quality artist making good music. If you can't get past an accent or two this review is not for you, just stop reading and go back to listening to Ready To Die or Illmatic and live in your nice little 1994 box.

Is R&B
the new Lil Wayne when it comes to mixtapes? Honestly, think about it.
You see all those mixtape DJs who are riding near the top of the game
and you see how they drop their CDs in clusters and you know what? 80 %
of the time those R&B titles move the most units...so I ask
again...Is R&B the new Lil Wayne? To answer my own question...no
it's not but it's starting to be. Wayne still moves frivilous units as
you can see by the amout of "concepts" his name generates over and over
again but R&B is on his ass. Watch all those Lil Wayne jockstrap
wearing DJs switch it up to R&B by the summer time. 2Mello
established his brand last year, his name is ringing bells, he's got
awards under his belt and right now it's up to him to take it to that
next level.

This is the best mixtape series you never heard of. See when a DJ really really has something going it takes a few mixtapes to gain that momentum, and then it reaches a point where the series is either going to the next level or it's a wrap. To me All elements 7 was that defining mixtape for J-Ronin and from here on out this is one of those mixtape series you have to be checking for. Smif N Wesson is hosting volume 8 in the truest sense of the word, well J-Ronin has skills, and that alone makes for a great listen.

This project right here is my new medicine. No lie, I don't think I've been in a better mode than after running this CD back to back a few times. This joint will have your eyes low like you just cop'd a $20 sac but haven't even smoked yet. Truth be told...I hate people; they annoy the hell out of me but I was actually mellowed enough to deal with their bullshit listening to this...props to Dexterity for that.

No bullshit, DJ Drama was the perfect DJ to hold this project down. His whole demeanor on the MIC is tailor made to ride with the vibe of the Re-Up Gang. I had a cat ask me if I heard the new "Clipse" mixtape yet. Man, come on it's RE-UP GANG! These fly by night mixtape fans make me want to slap a snot bubble out their nose and they probably don't know who's who in the GANG either. For you retardedly ass slow people it's Malice, Pusha T, Ab-Liva and Sandman. They put this joint up for free download off their website so I guess they really do "got it for cheap".

Who wanna test the rocket launcher? Come on man Clue drops a mixtape and cats from all over the net want to review that shit. What about those mixtape DJs who are really in this game, really putting in work to get good music heard, where's their review at? These so called journalists stay with balls across their nose (nh). The exclusive game been dead, muerte, fin..its a wrap. Cats jump all over this cause of new one new Jay Z track when they really should be trying to peep it for Ransom's new tracks. Pay homage to the father of this shit man, Tapemasta. Don't make him come out and school you johnny come lately wanna review a mixtape cause music is slow punk bitches. As a old chinese woman told me once after I ate up her whole buffet..."YOU GO NOW!"
"New JayZ...off that Blueprint 3"...shouts Clue. Yaaawwwn. "Ain't I" is cool I guess but Jay Z is far from a "hustlers hustler" these days. "Doing My Thang" is the joint. The word play, the punch lines..."I'll have you screaming like this bitch in the beat"...classic! Rasom got that spandex flow...shit is tight!! 50 Cents flow is improved on "You Aint' Crazy"...I think he's focused again...time will tell. Knowing me you would think I wouldn't be fucking with "I'm A Beast" but that shit if fly. Jadakiss set the booth on fire with this one and that cat Rashad on the hook wasn't bad either. "I'm Leaving" will have you bendin' corners in your ride. This is the G Unit that the mixtape fans want to hear. Tracks 10 thru 14 were filler to me, I'm sure cats will dig it tho but it didn't move me. Clue brought it back with Prodigy on "Real Power"; Free P turned this track to vegetables. "You know its savage time when I drop a classic line / ya'll niggas past ya prime / neva had a half-a grind." Ransom made this mixtape to me. "Jokes" is my theme music right now, heavy rewind on this one. If you don't think Ransom is that next dude then you're a lame. I can't help you, go listen to the radio or watch some reality TV.
Its crazy to me that cats can get some of these songs off the net now around the same time as Clue drops. I give him props tho for beating DJs to them tho. In this day and age it's near imposible to drop a mixtape with tracks that haven't leaked all over the place yet. This is a solid effort and truth be told the streets and the net are eating it up. I don't usually cop mixtapes with the word "radio" in them but I had to make an exception for this one.

Word on the street is 50 Cent and G-Unit bought to bring it back to the days of "No Mercy, No Fear". Who better to capture that sound and make them sound like that anyway regardless if they want to bring it back to those days or not. That's what Rondevu does and has been doing for years...creating his own exclusives and making MCs sound better than they do normally.
The best part of the into...50's line "call this my new shit but it ain't new tho". That's Rondevu's whole shit right there...new mixtape but it really aint new tho. There's not many DJs who can take old music and make it sound brand new but that's why Rondevu is who he is. How fitting is that "Don't Wanna Talk About It" is one of the weakest joints on here and it's a "new" 50 track. It's not a bad track but peep 50s flow...it's loose like ass cheeks and ragged pussy lips. "Ni99az" is that joint that makes you want to commit a felony. Tell me this Rondevu blend isn't better than the original track. Same goes for "All 4 The Cash". He took some bars from a fluffy ass track "Cake" and made that shit into some shit that leaves dents in the pavement....and through a scratched hook on it. For those not familiar with Rondevu's mixtapes, he always finds a way to make Young Buck shine like a mutha fucka...gotta be one of his favorite artist cause he's always represented well on every release; "Do It Myself" is the epitome of that on this project along with 2/3 of the other tracks on here. The blend that I had to rewind a few time was "We Don't Play Around". Ahhh man, this was truly that hustle off the beeper music. "Soon You'll Understand" is the thug ya mother blend of the mixtape. Alchemist + G Unit = good ass music.
I remember a couple years ago we used to always talk about making your own exclusive on Rapmullet, cats were doing their thing but now...seems like only a couple DJs still doing that. I have nothing else to say about the project, just go cop that joint and add it to the Rondevu collection. If you don't have a Rondevu collection you need to get that back stock all the way back to Knights OF The Round Table and The Four Horsemen.
